Live-Action... hum... ja also könnte mir vorstellen dass es ganz ok wird maximal^^

Oh je, ich sehe schon angeklebte spitze Ohren und einen grün animierten Will Smith als Ganondorf vor mir.
Da bin ich genauso skeptisch wie bei der anstehenden God of War Verfilmung durch Amazon.

Im ersten Moment dachte ich: Warum kein CGI? Aber auch da bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob ich das sehen will. In Sachen Story weiß ich auch nicht, was ich mir erwarte. Eine Verfilmung von OoT? Oder doch lieber ne eigenständige Geschichte?

Was wäre für dich denn nicht nervös machend? Ich glaube nämlich da gibt es keine Liste die irgendjemanden zufriedenstellt.

Irgendwie hat man schon bedenken, dass Nintendo sich bei Zelda doch übernimmt. Animiert, ok, aber Live Action? Miyamoto?
Wenn es in Richtung Wicher geht, etwas wechsel von heller Landschaft in sehr dunkle und fuese Dungeons, ok. Aber ...

Regarding the live-action film of The Legend of Zelda, I know we face an extremely high hurdle in producing a film that will not disappoint the global fan base. With this challenge in mind, I have been discussing this project with Avi Arad, Chairman of Arad Productions Inc., for about 10 years. Movies are just like games, in that you need to spend a lot of time working on them until you get to something you’re satisfied with. Movies therefore need sponsors who can lend their full support until completion. For the production of our movies, Nintendo itself acts as a sponsor. To produce the movie, we were able to assemble a group of people who are willing to commit time to the production until we come up with something we feel confident about.

For The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Chris Meledandri, the founder and CEO of Illumination, and I had creative control for all aspects of movie production, and together we continued with production until we were satisfied. For the live-action film of The Legend of Zelda, Avi Arad and I are taking plenty of time to prepare. We hope to release something good that will meet everyone’s expectations, so please look forward to it.

Hollywood is adapting Nintendo's Legend of Zelda series into a live-action movie and while there's plenty of excitement about the upcoming film there's also some concern.
With this in mind, the film's director Wes Ball (known for the Maze Runner trilogy) has told Total Film how he understands just how "important" the Zelda franchise is to fans and aims to "fulfil people's greatest desires".
He's also provided fans an idea of what to expect - explaining how he wants it to be a "serious" and "real movie" while offering a sense of escapism:
"That’s the thing I want to try to create – it’s got to feel like something real. Something serious and cool, but fun and whimsical."
